Wool

A dull grey tangled ball of wool.
Twisted, knotted, entangled and intertwined.
Its rough, stragly and has very little and very tiny speks of glitter in it.
Shining only under a certain light.

Suddenly falls into a pool of water.
Getting heavier, it starts to sink.
Sitting at the bottom, bubbles of air leaving and floating to the top.
Leaving it drenched in water.
Dark, soggy, cold and vulnerable.

A lighy flashes.
Warm and bright.
Strong and happy.
Slowing drying up.
Feeling the warmth.

Shimmering under the light.
Bright and bold.
Colours finally showing.
Bold red, warm yellow, cool blue and fresh green.

Colors only coming through because of the little light it gets exposed to.
Imagine what it could become.
